Dorothy Clavet, 58, of 24 Tiffany St., an employee in quality control at the Corning Glass Works for 25 years before retiring in 1981, died yesterday at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of Maurice J. Clavet.

Born in Albion, a daughter of Oglore (Descoteaux) Moreau, and the late Joseph Moreau, she lived in Central Falls for 30 years.

Mrs. Clavet was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church. She was a member of the Amalgamated Flint Workers of America.

Besides her husband and mother she leaves six sons, Norman Clavet of Foster, Paul Clavet of North Smithfield, Michael and Andrew Clavet , both of Pawtucket, William and Charles Clavet , both of Central Falls; five daughters, Mrs. Patricia Robichaud of Cumberland, Mrs. Martha Bradbury, Mrs. Veronica Bergeron, Mrs. Elizabeth St. Pierre and Mary Ellen Clavet , all of Central Falls; six brothers, Roland Moreau of Virginia Beach, Va., Lucien Moreau of Central Falls, Gerard Moreau of Coventry, Robert Moreau of West Warwick, Andrew, Charles Moreau, both of Cumberland, and 13 grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8 a.m. from the Mortuary of L. Heroux & Son, 20 Ledge St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity Church, Fuller Avenue, at 9.
