Aaron Brooks was born July 31, 1978 in Herington, KS to Robert and Terri (Mewhirter) Brooks. He grew up in Kearney and attended Kearney High School. He wrestled all through high school and graduated in 1996. Aaron worked at Integrity Construction for 18 years.
On June 9, 2012, Aaron was united in marriage to Amy M. Blaschko in Kearney, NE. He loved time spent with family and friends and was always the life of the party. Aaron was always willing to help anyone in need. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed camping, fishing, grilling, tubing and boating at the lake. He was great around the kids, always making them laugh and feel loved.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Amy Brooks of Kearney; children, Everett, Mackenzie, Ethan and Asher Brooks, all of Kearney; parents, Terri (Bill) Clark of Johnson Lake and Robert Brooks of Kansas; sisters, Steph Porcayo of Tilden, NE, Brandy Schulz of Kearney, Becca Brooks of Clay Center, and Ashley (Jay) VanZant of Kearney; step brothers, Marshall (Samantha) Clark of North Platte, Jason (Linda) Clark, Jeremiah (Meggan) Clark, Benjamin (Shari) Clark, all of Kearney; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Aaron was preceded in death by his in-laws, Kris and Albert Blaschko.}
