BLANE – On Friday, April 7, 1961, at 4 o'clock p.m., ADELINE WASHINGTON BLANE, wife of the late Oscar Blane, Sr.; mother of Mrs. Lillie Blane Collins, Mrs. Helen Blane Bell of Los Angeles, Calif., Oscar Blane Jr. of Vallejo, Calif., Louis Blane of Berkeley, Calif., and the late Myrtle Blane; sister of Wallace Washington Sr. and Simmie Washington of Franklin, La., and the late Walter T. Washington; also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of the First Emmanuel Baptist church and Asia Baptist church, employees of Mrs. Edgar B. Stern household, Douglas Public Service, Inc., Lincoln High School and faculty, staff, officers and members of U.N.I.A. are invited to attend the funeral.

Services from the Federal Funeral home, 2226 Thalia street, on Wednesday, April 12, 1961 at 1 o'clock p.m. Emmanuel Baptist church, 432 Erato street, Rev. Samuel Hadley officiating. Wake services Tuesday night, April 11, 1961, at the funeral home.

Interment in Mount Olivet cemetery.
