Bernice "Bea" Hagan (nee Ball), age 89 of Troy, Missouri, formerly Maryland Heights, Missouri, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, August 31, 2020 while surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Tuesday, September 9, 1930 in Hamburg, Illinois, the daughter of Carl and Inez (nee Miller) Ball.

She was the loving wife for 55 years of the late Murlian "Mur" E. Hagan, Sr.; devoted mother of Sharon (Louis "Skip) Rocklage of Troy, Debra (late Ronald) Nelson of Troy, Marlean (Donald) Rechtiene of Maryland Heights, and Murlian (Tanya) Hagan, Jr. of Maryland Heights; cherished grandmother of Amanda Rocklage, Jenna (Sam) Madden, Jason Voss, Amy Hudson, Wendy Voss, Angie (Stan) Goubeaux, Donnie Rechtiene and granddogs, Ava and Ranger; dearest great-grandmother of Alise, Christopher, Jaxson, Connor, Cooper, Cade, Hannah, Malachi, Austin, Graff, Brittany, Tori, Devon, Destiny, Hailee and C.J.; dearest great-great-grandmother of Brityn; dear sister of Vera Ball of East Alton, Illinois, Louis Gail (Christa) Ball of Nebo, Illinois and the late Robert Burdette (Michelle) Ball; dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.

Bea was a wonderful mother and very dedicated to her family. She raised her children and then went to work for Monsanto in the Cafeteria. In 1985, she and Mur, who was the Maryland Heights Fire Chief at the time, decided to both retire. They enjoyed their retirement together traveling and enjoying life. They moved to Florida for a few years and then came back to the St. Louis area and settled in Troy for the remainder of their years. She loved her Lord and was a long time, faithful member and Sunday School Teacher at the former Maryland Heights Bible Church and attended the First Baptist Church of Moscow Mills while living in Troy.
