Mr. Benjamin Pink “Pinky” Knight, age 87, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at his home. He was born on February 16, 1933 in Cedartown. He was the son of the late William and Minnie Knight.
Mr. Knight is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sue Lane Knight; daughters, Sharon Ritch (Larry) and Wendy Armstrong; sons, Frankie Waits (Becky) and David Knight; brothers, Junior Knight (Alice), Elbert Knight (Syble), Jimmy Knight, and Charles Knight (Loretta); sisters, Annie Bell Knight, Bessie Hooker (Gene), and Velma Weaver; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Knight is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Lou Knight and Ella Buchanan; brother, Johnny Knight; and great-grandson, Chris Tanner. In keeping with Mr. Knight’s wishes he was cremated. A private family memorial service will be held at a later time.
