He was born on July 9, 1941, to Edmund and Esther Tucker and was raised with his brother, Duane, and sister, Sandra, on their beloved family farm. Tucker Farms has been an active business in Bedford Township for over 100 years.

Chuck was very proud of his family’s business and his skills in agriculture and horticultural were evident in the lush landscaping and floral gardens he created around his home. He had a true green thumb and he thoroughly enjoyed planting and growing beautiful plants and flowers that he shared with family and friends.

Chuck was a lifelong learner and educator. He worked as a teacher for Toledo Public Schools for over 30-years and then spend an additional 20-years teaching adult education. Some of his favorite memories are those he made with the students he served during his lifetime, especially those that he was able to help prepare for the General Educational Development (GED) test. Witnessing the adult learners he helped successfully complete their high school education was truly a privilege he cherished.

His family meant everything to Chuck. The most important moments in his life were spent surrounded by the people he loved most. Every monumental experience was captured by him in priceless photo albums and pictures that covered the shelves and walls of his home. His love for his family was abundant and was evident in his words and actions whenever they were with him.
