Malnutrition is blamed in the death of Mrs. Alice McClure,at 814 6th St., Davenport she was found in her home at about 3 pm Wednesday . No Inquest will be held , according to Davenport Police .A sister in California survives. The body was taken to Hill & Frederick's Mortuary, Davenport.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 8 am in the Hill & Frederick's Chapel for Mrs. Edgar McClure, 68 of 814 E. 6 th. St. Davenport. She was found dead in her home Wednesday. Cremation will be held in the Davenport Crematorium She was born Feb.7, 1883 in Peoria. She had lived in Davenport most of her life, Mr. McClure preceded her in death. She was of the Methodist faith.

Surviving are two daughters , Mrs. Fay Pavlik of San Francisco , and Helen Stoyer, of Harrisburg .Pa.; two sons, Lt. Commander Edgar McClure, with the US Navy in Simenon ,Ga.and Donald, at home, and a sister, Mrs. Melvin Thurm of Bartonville , Ill.

Burial per family records: Fairmount Cem is the resting place of Alice Holliday McClure and her grave is marked with a small stone grave marker
