Mazlene (Jordan) Hicks, Age 77 of Hamilton, Ohio, passed at her residence on September 4, 2020. She was born in Barbourville, Kentucky, daughter of Wesley and Ollie (Smith) Jordan. She married Samuel Hicks on April 8, 1962. Mazelene was a long time member of the Gordon Avenue Baptist Church and River Road Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Glenda) Hicks; her daughter, Sharron (Randy Couch) Taylor; her grandchildren, Dwayne (Robin) Church, Crystal K., Kristen (Antonio) Garay, John (Ashley) Church, Lindsey Diaz, Kayla Hicks, Aaron (Lorin) Felix; her great-grandchildren, Robbie, Juan, Ashley, Efrain (Poppy), Alaina, Antonio, Shawn, Samuel, Yvett, Kelli, Michael, Ethan, Jaelynn, Aubrey, Brooklynn, Louise, Adalynn, Noel, Lydia, and Krislynn; her great-great-grandson, Tez; her brothers, Luke (Margaret) Jordan, Darryl (Helen) Jordan, Derrick (Martha) Jordan, Patrick (Malette) Jordan; her sisters, Faye (Ray) Cochran, Scilla (Wilbur) Brunner, Joyce (Randall) Merida, Carolynn (Arvil) Jones, Barbara Reynolds, Callie Fern, Charlotte (Danny) Cottingin, and her dear dog, Bugsy.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Samuel Hicks; her daughter, Shawna Felix, 2 grandchildren, Michael, Jr and Michelle; a great-grandchild, Gabby; 3 siblings, Gracie Garland, Lizzie Jordan and Jack Jordan, and her dog and constant companion, Tiko.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Arvil Jones of officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
