Clarence Sherman
Dies At Home
Clarence H. Sherman, 60, 315 S. Walnut, died this morning at his home of an apparent heart attack. He has been a resident of the Sapulpa area for the past 55 years after moving here from Chandler. He was born in Chandler on July 29, 1918.
Sherman was an army infantry veteran of World War II. He was a roofer and had been employed by the Bill Brackett Roofing Co. and had been self-employed also.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Myrtle Sherman, of the home address. Also surviving are a brother, Kenneth Sherman, Marion, Ore., and a half brother, Wade Hood of Safford, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Mina Matlock, 1102 E. McLeod, and Mrs. Vena Burton of Portersville, Calif.
Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced by the Owen Funeral Home.
