MABEL PHILBRICK
MANILA, Utah—Mabel Philbrick, 85, of Manila, Utah, died at 1 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, 1994 at the Castle Rock Convalescent Center in Green River.
Her body was cremated.
A longtime resident of Manila, Mrs. Philbrick died following a lengthy illness.
She was born Feb. 5, 1909 in Big Sandy, the daughter of the late Henry and Maude Huff Williams. She attended schools and was a graduate of high school in 1927. She graduated as a registered nurse from college and worked as a nurse for 47 years until her retirement in 1970.
She married Nels Philbrick in Cody Aug. 29, 1935.
Survivors include her husband of Manila; three sisters, Jeanette Simkin of Rock Springs, Ellen Richie of Boulder and Alma Golliher of Riverton; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Philbrick was preceded in death by four brothers, Henry, Jared, William “Bill”, and Paul Williams and one sister, Dorothy.
