Shirley A. TeBeau, age 80, of Janesville, died on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Nursing Home. She was born in Madison, on May 7, 1933, the daughter of Vernon and Lucille (DeRemer) Morrick. She has been a Janesville resident since 1961, moving here from Middleton. Shirley retired from Parker Pen after 23 years and then began her second career in nursing at the age of 58. She retired from Rock Haven Nursing Home just shy of her 72nd birthday. She was member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Janesville, and the Senior Center. Shirley especially enjoyed doing watercolors, liked being outdoors, sewing, quilting and loved to travel.
Shirley is survived by her four children: Vikki (Claude) Weisensel of Janesville, Stephen (Diane) TeBeau of Milton, Paul (Jackie) TeBeau of Rochester, NY, and Rebecca TeBeau of Janesville; seven grandchildren: Stephanie TeBeau, Toni Kendall, Lauren TeBeau, Jack TeBeau, Natalie (Brandon) O'Neill, Rachel Garcia and Kyle (Sara) Sucher; two great-grandchildren, Ethan Kendall and Madisyn Garcia; and one sister, Beverly (LaVerne) Tjugum of Sun Prairie. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Elizabeth Morrick.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, at ST. JOHN VIANNEY CATHOLIC CHURCH with Rev. Tom Marr officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the CHURCH. Lasting Memorials may be made to St. Elizabeth Nursing Home.
