SUN PRAIRIE/NORTH BRISTOL - Madalyn A. Wile, age 68, passed away at home on Friday, November 14, 1997. She was born on April 29, 1929 in Madison. Madalyn married Gilbert Derr, Jr. in 1957, and together they ran a farm in rural Sun Prairie. Gilbert died unexpectedly in 1968, and she lovingly raised their five children. She was united in marriage to Harry G. Wile on October 18, 1973, and the two families became one. A warm woman, she was always there with love and support for friends and family. Madalyn is survived by two sons, Joseph Derr and Harry S. Wile; three daughters, Betty (Mike) Zander, Elaine (Todd) Koberle, and Lucille (Scott) Pellett; many special grandchildren; and two sisters, Beverly Tjugum and Shirley TeBeau. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Lucille Weaver; her husband; and a son, Gilbert R. Derr. Services will he held at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 1997. An ECK memorial service will be officiated by Mr. Richard Berling. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 1997 until the time of services at the funeral home.
