Graveside services for Mr. Louis James Hale, age 73, will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, September 18, 2020, at the Welcome Cemetery, Taylor, AR, with his brother-in-law, Bro. Danny Stevens officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 18, 2020, 10:00 am - 11:30 am at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Hale was born on November 29, 1946 to Eugene and Syble Davis Hale in Delhi, LA and passed away on Monday, September 14, 2020 in Little Rock, AR. Mr. Hale enjoyed hog hunting, weaving white oak baskets, making leather goods and thoroughly enjoyed riding horses, and studying his bible. He worked at International Paper Co. and Petro Oil Co.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Drenda Stevens Hale of Springhill, LA; two sisters, Gloria Jean (Clyde) Stephens of Taylor, AR, Sylvia (James Ronald ) Lindsey of Springhill, LA; two daughters, Angela (Phillip) Rice of Conway, AR, Terri (Kenneth) Waites of Mayflower, AR; son, Waco (Lori) Hale of Greenbrier, AR; five grandchildren, Colby (Tasha) Waites of Mayflower, AR, Emily (Tyler) Brantley of Conway, AR, Mary Beth Rice of Conway, AR, Cassidy Hale and Conner Issiac Hale both of Greenbrier, AR; two great-grandchildren, Tessa Waites, and James Jared Waites.
Mr. Hale was preceded in death by his parents.
