Basil (Buck) Kenaston, 70, a resident of Glasgow for the past eight years, died in the Deaconess Hospital July 20. Services were held July 23 at 10 a.m. in the Bell Chapel with Pastor Don Paulson officiating.
Burial was in Highland Cemetery. The local mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
A son of Wilbur and Lillian Kenaston, Mr. Kenaston was born in Sawyer, N.D., Sept. 17 1912. He had lived in numerous communities throughout the United States and had been employed as a farm hand and a welder at the shipyards in Seattle and he had worked at the Fort Peck Dam during its construction and for the Northern Border Pipeline.
Survivors include two sisters, Mable Simon and Nora Hallstad of Minneapolis, a half-brother, Lyle Kenaston of San Diego, Calif., and numerous nieces and nephews.
