Mr. Campbell was born December 16, 1954 in Chester, SC and was a son of the late Virgil Campbell and Bessie Guyton Campbell. He was a graduate of Chester High School and York Tech. Mr. Campbell was employed as office manager for Lowrys Family Medicine, a part of MUSC-Chester. Claude and his wife, Ann, who preceded him in death, were former owners and operators of “The Bus Station” in Chester for over 20 years. He was an avid Clemson fan and also enjoyed tennis and golf.
He is survived by one son, Keith Campbell (Christina) of Land O’Lakes, FL; two grandchildren, Cameron Campbell and Harper Campbell of Land O’Lakes, FL; one brother, Roger Campbell (Gail) of Seneca, SC; one sister, Janice Campbell of Dalton, GA; an uncle and aunt. Dewey & Joan Guyton of Chester, SC; brothers-in-law, Peanut McAbee (Nawana) and Mike McAbee ( Shelia) both of Chester, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews. Claude was preceded in death by his wife, Ann and a brother, Ralph Campbell.
