Father of Laura Green, Jeanne McCandless, John P. (Joanne) McCandless and Madeline (Robert) Badolato. Brother of Joseph McCandless, Madeline McCandless, Helen Murphy and Kathryn Cooper; also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother John McCandless and his sister Sr. Maria Augusta, SSJ.
