Linda Silva, 77, of Biddeford, passed away Saturday afternoon on September 26, 2020 at Kennebunk Center for Health and Rehabilitation.

She was born in Biddeford on September 27, 1942, a daughter of Lester and Georgianna (Provost) Palmer. She graduated from Biddeford High School.

Linda was employed in manufacturing for Lyn-Flex Footwear in Biddeford for 30 years. She later worked 10 years for the Biddeford School system, a job where she enjoyed working with her co-workers and interacting with the students. She retired from the school in 2016.

Linda had many hobbies. She liked music, shopping and going out to eat. Most of all, she loved her family and the time they spent together. She was always interested in her grandchildren’s sporting events and school activities. She will be sadly missed.

She was predeceased by her husband Albert Silva on June 8, 2007 and by two brothers George and Alton Palmer.

She is survived by four children Leslie Silva, Lisa Benson, Alan Silva and Karen Collins, ten grandchildren Scott, Eric, Samantha, Elizabeth, Evan, Tyler, Joshua, Cassidy, Samuel and Sidney and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother William Palmer and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11AM Thursday, October 1, 2020, at South Buxton Cemetery.
