News has come to Lexington relatives of the death of Mr. George W. Gist, which occurred on Sunday at his home in Greenwood, Mississippi. The body will be brought to New Castle, Kentucky, for burial.

George W. Gist Dies

News has been received by Lexington relatives of the death of Mr. George W. Gist, Sunday, at his home in Greenwood, Miss. The body will be brought to New Castle, Ky, for burial. Mr. Gist's son, Mr. William N. Gist, and three married daughters live in Greenwood, and he has been making his home there for the last several years. He was formerly a prominent citizen of Henry County. His wife was Miss Margaret Ines, of this city, who died several years ago.
The only one of Mr. Gist's children now living in Kentucky is Mrs. Hardy Ripy, of Lawrenceburg. He was a brother-in-law of Mr. J. H. Bryan, of Lexington.
