Marguerite Craver
Marguerite Craver, 75, a Centerville resident, died Sunday morning, Feb. 24, 1991, at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Centerville
She was born in Centerville on Dec. 14, 1915, the daughter of Antonio and Katerina (Spezzapietra) Buttel. She was united in marriage to Clyde Craver on March 28, 1936, in Centerville. He survives.
Mrs. Craver and her sister-in-law Maxine Buttel were in the wallpaper hanging business. She then worked as a nurse's aide at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital until she went to work at the Green Circle. She retired a few years ago from the Centerville Community Schools where she was a cafeteria worker. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and a past member of the Town and Country Graden Club.
Survivors include her husband, Clyde, two sons, Gary of Centerville and Donald and his wife, Linda of Centerville; a sister, Mary Battistello of Pella; five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Richard; a sister, Candida Anderson and a brother, Peter Buttel.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Tuesday morning, Feb. 26, 1991, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Al Ebach officiating. Visitation will start at 7 p.m. Monday at the Lange Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery in Centerville. A memorial has been established to Trees Forever and may be left at the funeral home.
