LAID TO REST NEAR OLD HOME
The funeral of the late Mrs. Albert Carpenter, formerly Miss Hiatt, who passed away at Hopland on Tuesday evening was held on Thursday afternoon from the late residence and many relatives and friends of the deceased and of the bereaved ones attended.
Mrs. Z.P. Millington of this city, who is a sister of the deceased, left for Hopland on Wednesday morning accompanied by her oldest daughter, to attend the funeral.
Services were conducted at the home and the funeral cortege then wended its way to the Hopland cemetery where a lov-to earth.
