Funeral rites for Mrs. Annie Bechtold, 84, wife of the late Anthony Bechtold, were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Charles D. Legg and Sons Home for Funerals, 384 Broadway, with the Rev. Maurice E. Kelley, pastor of the South Paterson Gospel Church, officiating. Interment was made in Laurel Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Bechtold died Saturday night in her home, 61 Temple street.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Brower, Mrs. Elsie Ott and Mrs. Martha Edsall; three sons, George Bechtold, Frank and John Eddings; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. (Paterson, NJ, Morning Call, Thu., 5 Aug 1943, p. 15)
