Mary Simmons Appling, age 75 of Russellville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was a caregiver and a member of New Vision Community Church. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Lonnie Simmons, Sr. and Buck Appling. She is survived by: 1 Daughter ~ Jennifer Christian and Jason ~ Russellville, KY

The family will celebrate the life of Mary Simmons Appling via a walk through visitation to be held Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Summers and Son Funeral Home. Please observe CDC guidelines of 6 feet distancing and wearing of face coverings. The family would appreciate if friends would prepare and bring a written memory of Mary to be placed in the memory box at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Logan County Humane Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
