Betty Hudson Absher was born on April 15, 1941, in Max Meadows, Va, and passed away on November 9, 2022, in Fort Pierce, Fl.
Betty is survived by her son Michael (Christina) Absher of St Louis, MO, and Karen Giovengo of Ft Pierce, Fl. She is a grandmother to 5 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Betty is also survived by her sister Patsy Scott of Cocoa, Fl and many nephews and nieces, and a multitude of friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Rev. George Absher; her father, John C Hudson Sr; her mother Alice Hudson; her two brothers, John C Hudson Jr and David L Hudson; and step-grandson LCpl Joseph M Hueckel.
Betty served the Lord by her husband's side for over 45 years as a Pastor's wife and secretary. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother (Giggy as they affectionately called her). She loved to shop, spend time with her family, play board games, and eat ice cream. She did not shy away from a good time and loved to cut up and laugh!
A visitation will be held on November 15, 2022, from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Haisley Funeral Home Chapel 3015 Okeechobee Rd Fort Pierce, FL with a Funeral Service to be held November 16, 2022, at 11 AM at the Spirit Life Church of God 700 S. 33rd Street Fort Pierce, FL with burial to follow at White City Cemetery.
