Mary Frances Kiessling spent decades researching genealogy and tracing her family's history died September 8, 2007.
A memorial was held at the Friendswood United Methodist Church. Her ashes will be buried next to her late husband, U.S. Air Force Col. Ernest A. Kiessling, at Arlington National Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Kiessling Ray, and three sons — Paul and Russell Kiessling of Friendswood and Glen Kiessling of Humble.
