Alexander "Alex" Pruett of Carefree, Arizona, 20, passed away on September 23, 2007. He was born on January 14, 1987 in Evanston, Illinois. Alex was residing outside of Indianapolis, Indiana, in Danville, where he was a professional race car driver, primarily racing in the United States Auto Club Midget series. Alex attended Cave Creek, Arizona schools before embarking on his race career. Alex first started competing in race carts at age 10.
