FUNERAL HELD SUNDAY FOR MRS. OSBORNE, 87
Mrs Hettie Preston Osborne, 87, died at her home at Martin last Thursday. Born August 16, 1882, she was a daughter of the late Mason Lee and Amanda Jane Dingus Allen Preston. Her first husband was the late Urban Allen and her second husband was the late Albert Osborne.
Survivors include three sons Ornie Allen of Hampton VA, Clyde Allen of Martin and Albert Osborne Jr of Troy NY; two brothers Dr J.C. Preston of Pikeville and Dr Burman Preston of Cincinnati, OH; three sisters. Mrs Sarah Dingus of Martin, Mrs Bertha Allen in OK and Mrs Velva Fitch of Columbus, OH ; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Hall Brothers Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was made in the family cemetery there.
