Marshall Bigelman of 1000 Second Ave. died today at Samaritan Hospital after a brief illness.
A native of Troy, he was husband of the late Gertrude B. Bigelman. Mr. Bigelman operated a general store in Stratford, Fulton County, until his retirement several years ago when he moved back to Troy.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Claire Gundrum of Defreestville, two grandchildren [Charles Wetmore Jr. of Rochester and Mrs. Valentine Halsey of Albany] and three greatgrandchildren.
The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. from the Bryce Funeral Home, 276 Pawling Ave., with Rev. George A. Borthwick, pastor of the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
