Alexander Arango a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother, uncle, friend and police officer passed away to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 22, 2020, in Fort Worth, TX.

For nearly 27 years, Officer Arango, badge #186, served with pride and honor the Texas communities of Everman and Tarrant County., he served four years in our country as a Sergeant in the US Army. Alex had a heart of gold and was a fun person to be around. He was always laughing and making other people laugh. And as a public servant, he was always eager to help others. Alex was a devoted family man. Christmas was his favorite holiday he made his traditional homemade fruit salad, Santa letters and continued our dad's Christmas goody bags!
Alex was preceded in death by his father Joe Arango in 2003. Alex's mother, Carmen Arango passed away three days after Alex in 2020.
Alex is survived by his wife of 42 years Anita Arango of Fort Worth; daughter Jennifer and Aldolfo Garcia of Ft. Worth; son Alex Arango, Jr and Vanessa of Fort Worth; daughter Annette Arango and Chris Cortez of Fort Worth; sisters Danet Arango-Henry and Janet Garcia; brothers Manuel Almazan, Larry Arango and Joe Arango; and many grand and great-grand children.
