Lawlor, Elsie Josephine Copley
95, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 22, 2015. Elsie grew up on Lasqueti Island, British Columbia, Canada where she was born on May 23, 1920. Elsie married Nephi V. Lawlor in the Cardston, Alberta Temple on April 11, 1945. Both worked in the Boeing Aircraft Factory building bombers during WWII, Elsie as a Bucker, Riveter and Fitter. After short stays in Seattle, WA and Fountain Green, UT, Elsie and Nephi moved to Mesa, AZ in 1948 where they raised their ten children. Elsie was a wonderful wife and mother. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in her many church callings. Elsie is survived by 9 of her 10 children. Nephi C. (Carol Lee), Milton (Vicki), Sharlene Merrill (Gary), Vonetta Williams (deceased) (Ted), Lamarr (Launa), Muriel Bingham (Kirk), Stanley (Lori), Linda Mackey (Richard), Vayla Price and Elaine Adair (Kendall).
