Obit: Elsworth McMichael was born June 9, 1919 and departed this life January 25, 1939 aged 19y 9m 6d. On October 29, 1939, 19y 9m 6d. On October 29, 1938 he was united in marriage to Miss Ethelda Ethel Ball. Those left to mourn his departure are his wife, his father and mother, 2 brothers, Frank of Cumberland, IA and Vernon of Guilford, MO; 6 sisters, Mrs Flora Davis of Guildford; Mrs May McCampbell, Mrs Faye Malson and Mrs Stella Best all of Gentry; Mrs Grace Hardin of Albany and Velva of the home, besides a host of other relatives and friends.

Services were held at the Greenridge church on Friday at 2 pm conducted by Rev A R Lamb, pastor of the M E church in Helena, MO assisted by Rev Ross Chittim, pastor of the Gentry Gospel Tabernacle and burial was in the Greenridge cemetery.
