Brian Antonivich, 34, of Nashua, passed away on Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, holding the hand of his devoted wife, Heather; following a long, courageous battle with Stage 4 stomach cancer.

Born in Claremont, NH on August 1, 1979, he was the treasured son of Mitchell and Dawna Antonivich and beloved little brother of Scott Antonivich, his only sibling.

Raised and educated in Charlestown, NH, Brian was a graduate of Fall Mountain Regional High School. During his high school career, Brian made many friends who cared about him deeply.

In the summer of 2010, Brian met the love of his life, Heather Knowlton. Introduced by Heather's uncle, Paul Knowlton, they had immediate chemistry and simply hit it off. Officially a couple, Brian and Heather celebrate July 18th as a very special anniversary. So full of love and joy, Brian and Heather were wed in Concord, NH on Jan. 18, 2012. Living in Nashua together, they dreamed of the beautiful journey of life they would share together.
Unfortunately, due to Brian's illness, they were unable to start the family they so desperately hoped for.

On Christmas Eve, 2012, Brian was diagnosed with Stage 4 Stomach cancer. On New Year's Eve, 2012, Brian began his fight against cancer with chemotherapy treatments at Foundation Hematology and Oncology under the supervision of his excellent doctor, Marcia Browne, MD. He received incredible care from all of the nurses and staff during his chemo treatments.

Chemotherapy had a profound impact on Brian's life. He decided to life his life to the fullest regardless of how much time he had left in this world. During the summertime, Brian and Heather enjoyed the beautiful weather traveling around the State and New England. The apex of his summer was their trip to New York City for a wedding with his brother-in-law Todd and niece, Abi. In addition to the wedding, Brian was able to take a ferry to see the Statue of Liberty, go to Times Square, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Big Apple. Above all, he relished the time he was able to spend with his daughter, Nicole. Brian, Heather, and Nicole also traveled to Cranston, Rhode Island to visit his family; his Aunt Paula, Cousin Stephanie, and extended family and friends. While in Rhode Island, the three visited the Roger Park Zoo in Providence. Heather and Nicole will fondly remember this trip for years to come.

A member of a large family, Brian spent much of his time with his parents, Mitchell and Dawna, brother, Scott, nephew, Parker, and daughter, Nicole. Brian spent a great deal of time with Heather's family as well who were always willing to lend a helping hand. Living with his brother-in-law, Todd Knowlton and niece, Abigail, Brian is also survived by his father -in- law, William "Bill" Knowlton. Though he was unable to see some of his family due to distance, he cherished hi sister-in-laws, Debra of Georgia, Sharon of New York, and Amanda of Nashua.

Brian and Heather would like to thank Heather's dear friend, Kristi, for her love, support, and companionship she provided the couple since day one.

Brian will be best remembered for his happy go lucky spirit and the great love his had for his family, friends, and wife. A dedicated son, brother, father, husband, uncle and friend, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

We all love and miss you, Brian!

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Brian's memory to the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover St., Mancehster, NH 03104, to assist the family with medical and funeral expenses.
