He was retired from Ohio Brass Co., after 45 years' service, was a member of Lakeview United Methodist Church, and Boy Scouting for over 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel V. Poland and is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Zerelda Fehrman of Byesville, Ohio and Lude-Bruin of Akron.
Funeral services Monday 1 p.m. at COX Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave., Pastor David Tennant officiating. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Calling hours 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. (COX, 745-3311.)
