Antoine Gevaudan arrived on the ship Peter and Anthony of London England Sept 20, 1700 with Daniel Perreau as Commander. Antoine was on the second ship of French Hugenots headed for the settlement at Manakin Town .

He was a single man when he arrive in Manakin Town but married Marie Fraisse very shortly after. Their son Thomas Gevaudan was born in 1702
