Mrs. Onita Gritton Gash, 81, of Heritage Hall Care Center, Lawrenceburg, died Thursday, March 2, 1995 at Heritage Hall Center. A native of Anderson county, she was the daughter of the late Wes and Ada Drury Gritton and the widow of Richard Thomas Gash, Sr. She was a member of Sand Spring Baptist Church and the Homemakers Sunday School class. Survivors include: three sons, Richard T. Gash, Jr., Lawrenceburg, William F. and Lewis F. Gash, both of Mercer County; six daughters, Mrs. R. A. (Pauline) Hanks of Danville, Mrs. J. D. (Dorothy) J. Bussell, Mercer County, Mrs. Bobby (Patricia) Flora, Versailles, Mrs. Roy (Valena) Harley, Mrs. Jimmy (Brenda) Peach, both of Lawrenceburg and Mrs. James (Judy) Harley of Mercer County; 25 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Zelma Jeffries. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, March 5 at the Ritchie-Peach-Todd Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick White and Rev. James Harley officiating. Burial was in Kirkwood Cemetery, Mercer County.
