A Firestone tool designer, Cline 'Ted' Malone, suffered a fatal heart attack on Friday, August 31, 1962 at his residence at 65 N. Balch St., Akron.

Born in Tennessee, Mr. Malone had 20 years service at Firestone and was in the Navy in World War II. He had lived in Akron 20 years.

He was a member of Adoniram Lodge 517, F&AM; Valley of Canton Consistory, and Tadmor Temple of the Shrine.

Mr. Malone leaves his mother, Mrs. Maude Malone of Akron; three brothers, George, Howard and Hugh Malone, all of Tennessee; and two sisters, Mrs. Norma Aileen Burns of Cleveland and Mrs. Thelma Willie Freidel in Pennsylvania.

Services in Adams Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Peace Cemetery.
