John Gibson, Sr., loving husband and father, slept into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 13, 2003.

John was born in Southern Pines, North Carolina on June 27, 1935 to the late Thomas Gibson and Janie York Gibson.

He was a life-long resident of Bristol Township and graduated from Pennsbury High School in Middletown Township, PA.

Employed by U.S. Supply for many years, he retired in 1999.

John was active in his church and community. He was one of the founding members of Community Baptist Church, where he served for many years as Superintendent of the Sunday School Ministry, Caretaker Trustee, Business Trustee and Planning Committee member. He also served on the Prison Ministry and the Tuesday Morning Prayer Group.
