Bertie and Bettie Duncan, the twin daughters of Benjamin Franklin Duncan and Josephine Fentress, were born on April 8, 1874. Bertie died on August 23, 1875. Her twin sister Bettie died a month later on September 29, 1875. They were buried in the Eskridge Cemetery near Falls of Rough, Grayson County, Kentucky. It is now known as the Bend Cemetery because it is located in the bend of Rough River in Grayson County.
