70, of Schneider, passed away Friday November 13, 2020. She is survived by her husband, Obie; children, Julie (Rick) Wienrank and Lisa (Paul) Rodrigues; 4 grandchildren, Zachary, Kaylie, Katelyn, and Julia; siblings, Ronald (Theresa) Steele, Linda (Walter) Michels, Josephine (John) Kroll, Leonard (Carol) Steel, Jr. and Susan (Kenneth) Troy, Jr. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Herschal Thrall and parents Leonard and Bernice Steele. Shirley was a longtime active member of Lake Village Baptist Church. She was a woman of incredible faith and strength and inspired others throughout her journey. She loved her family immensely and had a passion for serving others in her community (mainly with food). She was an avid crafter, enjoyed countless hours on her porch swing, working in her gardens and loved to camp and travel with her husband.
Visitation will be Tuesday November 17, from 10-12 at her Church. Current Social Gathering limits are 25 people at one time inside the church. Please be brief while visiting in order to make room for additional guests to pay their respects. Private Funeral Services, due to current COVID restrictions, will be published on Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services Facebook page at 12PM. Private Burial will follow in Lake Village Cemetery.
