Mr. Charlie C. White, 91, of Hope, Indiana, died Monday, September 4, 1995, at his residence. Born May 23, 1904 in Springfield, he was the son of the late Addie and Annie Carpenter White. He was married to the late Vertie M. Reynolds May 19, 1922, who died March 14, 1989. He was a farmer and a member of the Liberty Baptist church in Decatur County, Indiana. Survivors include: a son, Lloyd White, San Jose, CA; two daughters, Arnola Records, Edinburgh, IN and Idella Humbel, Columbus, IN; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia McQueen and a brother, Cletus White. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 8, at the Norman Funeral Home in Hope, Indiana with the Rev. David Blazier officiating. Burial will be in Hartsville College Cemetery, Hartsville, Indiana.
