Gary Jo Carver was born on April 19, 1959, in Arkansas City, Kansas, to Gary Keith and Linda Sue (Holiday) Carver. Following his education he entered the United States Navy. Upon discharge from the military, he worked in the oil and gas industry, as well as serving as a cowboy working livestock. He married Lynn Tuck on April 14, 1980. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Carver of Lamont; a son, Gary Keeth Carver and wife Mary Glaser of Ponca City; a daughter, Niki Langley of Odessa, Texas; seven grandchildren, Hadison, Kacie Jo, Peyton, Hunter, Makinzie, Jaydon and Kiersten; three sisters, Susan Prince, Connie Francis and Amy Weber; a brother, R. Jo was all about family and horses and if you needed anything he would be there. He was most proud and talked non-stop about his grandkids and would remind them often they were the best part of his life.
