Mrs. Victoria Ballew of Union Grove 1 died Saturday at her home following a long illness.
Mrs. Ballew was the daughter of the late Thomas and Minnie Chastine Gibbs.
Her husband, died several years ago.
Mrs. Ballew was 63 years old and was a member of Union Chapel Methodist Church.
Survivors are: 5 sons, Fred, Sam and Glenn of Detroit, Otis of Arab Rt. and Murphree of Union Grove 1; 2 daughters, Mrs. Gladys Taylor and Mrs. Maude Allen both of Union Grove 1; several grand and great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at Gilliam Springs church by Rev. J. H. Hallman.
Burial was in the Gilliam Cemetery.
