Clark, Abel (March 19, 1790-March 12, 1857 –husband of Lydia Day [married Sept. 19, 1812 at Addison in Addison County, Vermont –Lydia was born in 1793 and died July 15, 1869 in Manitowoc County] –son of Isaiah Clark [1756-1834] and Eunice Moore [1757-1825] who were married Dec. 24, 1778 at Hartland in Hartford County, Connecticut –born at Addison in Addison County, Vermont –resident of the City of Potsdam in St. Lawrence County, New York –the father of Ira, Isaiah, and Samuel Clark –on June 2, 1849, Abel was assigned by the US Government the 160 acres of the SW1/4 of Section 9, Town of Eaton –on May 25, 1855, he sold the eastern 80 acres of these 160 to his son Samuel Clark –on April 24, 1856, he sold the western 80 acres of these 160 to his son Isaiah Clark) –Abel Clark likely died in the Town of Maple Grove but does not shown in any cemetery –both Abel and Lydia Clark are likely buried at the Old Clark Mills Cemetery, Town of Cato
