GLADEWATER - Services for Helen Pepper Lacy, 78, of Gladewater, will be held at noon Saturday, September 29, 2007, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater, with the Reverend Roger Gage and the Reverend Allen Cook officiating. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.

Born June 5, 1929, in Lepanto, Arkansas, she died on Wednesday, September 26, 2007.

She was a Registered Nurse for 28 years and a member of the Clarksville City Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Lucy Pepper; and her sister, Lou Nell Carroll.

She is survived by her son, Michael Stansbury of Pangburn, Arkansas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Charlie Hammett of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Freda and Kelly Easley of Royse City; five grandsons, Kevin Easley, Tolv Easley, Lee McGibboney, Pepper Stansbury and Adam Stansbury; one granddaughter, Katie Pepper Hammett; five great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, J. Henry and Shirley Pepper of Union Grove; sister and brother-in-law, Kathryn and Clayton Thomas of Gary; and numerous nieces and nephews.
