Alyce Conell Armstrong, 94, daughter of John and Criscenz Mack Conell, died on Saturday. Born in Carthage, NY, Mrs. Armstrong lived her teenage years in New York City before moving to Syracuse where she spent most of her adult life. She was a 5-year resident of Buckley Landing Assisted Living. A parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church, Syracuse, Alyce was a charter member of the senior choir, member and past treasurer of The Living Rosary and Altar Society, St. Ann's Circle and the Golden Agers.

She was predeceased by her husband, Paul A.; two brothers, J. Stanley and Paul Conell; a sister, Vivian Hine; a great-granddaughter, Amanda Giacobbe and her son-in-law, Robert B. Decker. Survivors include son, Thomas (Mary Lee); daughter, Joan Decker; eight grandchildren. Bruce and Bobby Decker, Thomas and Victoria Armstrong, Kathleen McDaniel, Sharon Dutra, Mary Lynn Giacobbe and Christine Hayes; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd. Services will be Thursday 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home, and at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
