Elizabeth Price Jones was born on 8 October 1856 in Guernsey County, Ohio, the daughter of Rev. Thomas Jones (1825-1881) and Mary Margaret Cornwell Jones (1836-1879). She relocated, along with two of her siblings, out to Beaverhead County, Montana by 1900. She worked as a public school teacher for many years. She did not marry, and had no children. Sometime after 1910, she relocated to Los Angeles, CA. She died on 25 February 1919 in Los Angeles, CA at the age of 62. She was interred at Angelus Rosedale Cemetery.
