In the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. & Mrs. Arthur F. Mueller, who lives in the third ward here, Adam Benedum died Tuesday morning, after being sick for eight weeks and having suffered a stroke on Monday, at the age of 83 years, six months and five days. He was born in Germany on December 14, 1844 and came to America May 9, 1854 with his mother and uncle. On December 28, 1865, he married Wausau, Wis. with Miss Emilie Schmidt, who died on April 3, 1911. They lived near Kohlsville and since August 13, 1924, the deceased made his home with his daughter, Mr. & Mrs. Arthur Mueller of Mayville. He leaves behind the following children: John. Charley, Adolph and Louis of Kohlsville, Fred of Appleton, Mrs. Homer Cole, Mrs. Reinhard Miller, Mrs. Walter Miller, Mrs. Henry Diels and Mrs. Arthur Miller. One son died in childhood and four daughters also preceded their father in death. The funeral takes place this afternoon at 2 p.m. from the Zions Lutheran Church in Kohlsville, to the cemetery there, conducted by Pastor A. Werr.
