ALLEN "AL" WILDER
Allen "Al" Wilder, 68, Clinton, MO (formerly of Independence, MO), passed away August 17, 2002, at his home. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2002, at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton. Graveside services were at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence, MO.
Al was born in Clay Center, KS. He was married to Edna P. Ford in September of 1959. He lived in Independence and sold cars for Wilmouth Buick and Ketchum Olds. He moved to Clinton in 1975 and owned and operated Wilder Buick, Olds and Pontiac until 1981, when he started Wilder RV. He later opened a second dealership east of Columbia, MO, on I-70, in January 2001. He was ordained High Priest in the Community of Christ Church (formerly RLDS) and served as pastor of the Clinton church for nine years. He also served on the Stake High Council for 11 years. He is survived by his wife, Edna of the home; three sons, Paul Fraccasia and wife Susan of Harrisonville, MO, Thomas Fraccasia and wife Lana of Delray Beach, FL, and Barry Wilder and Brenda Wilder of Columbia, MO; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
