Harriet Walker was the daughter of Jason Walker and Elizabeth MacIntosh Walker. She married her cousin Seth Walker in 1824. They shared a great grandfather. They were the parents of five children, Harriet Emily, Ursula Marie, Jason Josiah, Marietta Margaret and Seth Edward. After Harriet's death, Seth, the children, his father Josiah and several brothers and other relatives removed to Illinois. Seth second married Lydia L. Walker. It was Lydia's first marriage and she was not related to Seth.
