Blue, a Red bone Coonhound, came to us in 2018. He was half starved and eat up with parasites. He was beautiful and funny and was a lot of trouble. He ate what he shouldn't, destroyed what he could and was an adorable mess. We tried to give him the best life.
He managed to get out of a locked dog lot. We noticed within a couple hours , we had many sightings but no success in finding him. Walking miles the next morning at day break we were called and told he was not far away. He had been hit heavily.
My baby boy went for a walk yesterday
He wanted to go out to play
I said no no no, it's dangerous
Please come back to us
He ran and played, sniffed and visited
I couldn't find him anywhere
Morning came and there he laid
No more to roam
No more coming home
Why didn't you listen??
Why didn't you stay?
We brought him home and laid him to rest
We did our very best
