Mrs. A. Knutson Succumbs Today at Age 67
Mrs. Anton (Gertrude) Knutson, 67, died this morning at Falls Memorial hospital following a three-day illness. She made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Irene Koch, 805 1/2 Eighth Street.
Mrs. Knutson was born in Goodhue County on February 27, 1886 and moved with her family to McIntosh, Minnesota and later to Crookston. She was married at Crookston in 1903 to Anton Knutson. They moved to Saum in 1906, to Grygia in 1921 and came to International Falls in 1940. Mr. Knutson predeceased her.
Surviving are two sons, Archie and Fred Knutson of Ray and two daughters, Mrs. Irene Koch and Mrs. Hazel Krause of the Falls, as well as four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Residing at McIntosh are her mother, Mrs. Ole Marum, a brother, Andrew Marum and a sister, Mrs. Joe Drydahl.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Green mortuary.
